About the breed
We breed two types of kittens, Standard and Mink.
Minks and Standards are both pure Ragdolls but there are a few differences between them.
- Mink Ragdoll kittens are born with colour.
- Traditional Ragdoll kittens are born white.
The point colour of the mink is much richer and darker than the point colour of the traditional Ragdoll.
Minks come in all the standard colours of:
- Seal
- Blue
- Cream
- Blue/Cream
- Chocolate
- Lilac
- Flame
- Tortie
Minks also come in all the standard patterns:
- Colourpoint (no white)
- Mitted (white mitts on front paws, boots on back legs, white chin and bib)
- Bi-color (inverted “V” on face, white on all legs, chin and bib)
- and Lynx.
Mink Ragdolls have blue/green coloured eyes, the Standard Ragdoll will always have blue eyes.
Most importantly, Minks have the same characteristics as traditional Ragdolls. They are large, lovey, docile, floppy, puppy cats.
