A Registered Ragdoll Breeder Placing Kittens with Georges River Families

Mountain Hollow Ragdolls is registered with Australian National Cats Inc. (ANCATS),  a traceable identity, a documented standard of practice, and a point of accountability behind every kitten. None of which an unregistered seller can offer you.

The cattery has been placing kittens since 2010. A breeder still operating fifteen years later has a reputation worth protecting, and they know it.

Mountain Hollow is based in Yetholme / Meadow Flat, NSW, and regularly places kittens with families across Georges River,  Hurstville, Kogarah, Rockdale, and beyond into Sydney’s southern suburbs. Distance is not the obstacle most buyers assume it is. What happens before and after pickup matters far more than proximity.

What You Receive on Pickup Day, and Why It Matters

Your pickup folder is not a formality. It is a paper trail that tells you exactly what your kitten has been through before arriving in your home.

Every Mountain Hollow kitten leaves with a microchip registration document, a vaccination history record, and health screening documentation covering the heritable conditions that responsible Ragdoll breeding screens for without exception. These documents confirm the screening was completed. They are not a guarantee of future health, but they are proof the work was done before you paid a dollar.

There is also a welcome bag,  a physical one, with everything you need to get through the first week without guessing.

Linda put it plainly: "An incredible welcome bag with all the info you'll ever need... you can trust MH to provide you with great service and a gorgeous healthy kitten."

For first-time owners especially, that preparation changes everything. As Sydney Auld noted: "answering all my questions about getting my first kitten" that is the kind of support that turns a stressful handover into a confident one.

A FaceTime onboarding call is also part of the process.

How the Deposit and Reservation Process Works

Reserving kittens based on anticipated litters or hoped-for colours is precisely how buyers end up disappointed,  or, in the worst cases, scammed.

Around two to three weeks of age, Mountain Hollow shares sneak peeks. The deposit window opens between four and six weeks, once veterinary checks are complete and accurate photos are posted. You see the actual kitten before any money changes hands. Even experienced vets can misread sex in very young animals; waiting removes that uncertainty entirely.

Confirmed details, real photos, no deposits on hypotheticals. That is what a legitimate process looks like.

Ragdoll Colours and Patterns Available from Mountain Hollow

Mountain Hollow kittens come in four pattern types: traditional, mink, sepia, and solid. Every available kitten is listed with current, accurate photos before any deposit is accepted,  so you are looking at the actual cat, not a catalogue image from a previous litter.

That distinction matters more than it sounds. Real photos of real kittens are one of the clearest signals separating a legitimate listing from one that is not.

What Georges River Families Say About Mountain Hollow Ragdolls

Buyers who have been through the process know exactly what earned their trust. For most of them, the paperwork was a significant part of it.

One of our reviews described receiving a “microchip and vaccine maintenance record folder”,  the physical confirmation that every administrative and veterinary step was completed before his kitten left. For anyone who has ever worried about receiving promises rather than documents, that detail is the difference.

Linda named the fear directly: "I know there's plenty of scammers out there so just want to write this review to give buyers peace of mind. You can trust MH to provide you with great service and a gorgeous healthy kitten!"

If you are collecting from outside Georges River or arranging transport, ask your breeder directly about conditions and logistics. Mountain Hollow is available to discuss those arrangements before you commit.

The right breeder answers those questions without hesitation.

Support After Your Kitten Comes Home

Some breeders are unreachable the moment the kitten leaves. It happens often enough that it is worth addressing plainly: Mountain Hollow does not operate that way. Sydney Auld described it simply: "answering all my questions about getting my first kitten." Ongoing access to someone who knows your specific kitten is not a bonus feature; it is how Mountain Hollow has worked since 2010.

First-time owners benefit most from having an actual person to call, not a FAQ page written for someone else's situation.

Frequently Asked Questions, Ragdoll Kittens Near Georges River

Ask for a current registration number with ANCATS or another recognised Australian cat registry. Before placing any deposit, request DNA test results, vaccination records, and microchip details. Mountain Hollow is ANCATS-registered and provides all of this documentation at the point of sale.

At a minimum: a microchip registration document, a vaccination history record, and DNA test results for HCM and PKD. Mountain Hollow provides these in a dedicated folder at pickup, alongside the welcome bag. Any seller who cannot produce these documents at the time of sale warrants serious scrutiny.

Mountain Hollow places kittens with families across Georges River, greater Sydney, regional NSW, and other parts of Australia. Collection and delivery arrangements are worth discussing directly with the breeder before you commit.

Deposits are accepted only after a kitten has been vet-checked, accurately photographed, and confirmed for gender, colour, and health status at four to six weeks of age. You know exactly what you are purchasing before any money changes hands,  and that protects you entirely.

Mountain Hollow remains available for questions once your kitten is settled. The welcome bag and FaceTime onboarding call are designed to cover the most common first-week concerns, but if something comes up after pickup, reaching out directly is always an option.
